As a symbol of longevity, traditionally the Chinese believed coral to represent an "iron tree" (tieshu) growing under the sea and blossoming only once every 100 years. Coral is also a symbol of official promotion; a red coral button pinned to the hat was the official insignia of a high-ranking official in the imperial court.

Transitioning into a new role

The recently hired Global Head of Equities within a global wholesale bank, as part of his on-boarding decided to seek one-to-one technical training to bring him up to speed on a wide range of relevant topics.

Bruno delivered the training over a serious of eight 90 minute sessions, each one tackling a specific topic as guided by the needs of the individual and the demands of the role.

bdConsulting remained flexible with regards to the content of each session and to scheduling, allowing sessions to be fixed at relatively short notice. This training and its delivery mechanism provided the support needed for the individual to function optimally in his new role.
